Also, Last month I told the Enterprise that I will be leaving their employ at the end of the year. I’ve learned a lot about caring for people in the 11 months I’ve been here. Can’t say the same for photography. I think they’ve already found my replacement. I say “I think” because, although I offered to review portfolios or conduct interviews, nobody has asked me for my opinion on a single candidate. I guess the managing editor, who asked me how to work a camera the other day, knows more about good photography than I do.

But on the opposite side, I haven’t gotten any calls or emails from prospective employees asking about the job, what it’s like, why I’m leaving, what to expect–nothing.

Anyway, I think I’ll be sticking around Cody for a little bit, so If you’re still interested in dropping by, Yellowstone is an hour down the road and opens in May.
